AbstractPerhaps the most important trend we observe in an increasing digitalized landscape, is that the internet technology allows organizations and individuals to interact across the globe. More and more organizations, both start-ups and more mature ones, ranging from retail to healthcare to energy, from public to private institutions are aware about the possibilities of extending their services outside their walled offices and physical points of contacts. E-consumers also seem more satisfied with the possibility to interact and transact with organizations without the constraints of time and space.
